Jeremy Varner | Lead Pastor
On May 27 of 2009, Community Baptist Church called Pastor Jeremy Varner as its Senior Pastor. Pastor Jeremy holds a B.A in Biblical Studies with a pastoral major, as well as an MA in Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice University. He is a gifted speaker and teacher, weaving humor with his hermeneutics. With an emphasis upon exegetical teaching, Christ-centered preaching, Pastor Jeremy seeks to make much of Christ as he expounds upon the Word of God each and every Sunday.
Dean Hightower | Senior Saints Pastor
Our Senior Saints Pastor is Dean Hightower who has served Community Baptist Church faithfully as the former Lead Pastor for 27 years. After a two-year term on the mission field, he returned home to La Grange where he heads up a fruitful ministry to the seasoned saints of CBC, along with serving in various other roles in the church.
